DCI was the first company to develop and implement a web-based e-invoice application. DCI was incorporated in March of 2000 and has continued to be the leader in accounts payable automation and procure-to-pay solutions. DCI currently supports thousands of suppliers submitting hundreds of thousands of electronic invoices adding up to billions of dollars per year in transaction volume.
Direct Commerce's mission is to transform the delivery and management of inter-business financial transactions from a predominantly paper-based process to a fully electronic interchange.

Management Team
Glenn Benson, President As President of Direct Commerce, Glenn Benson directs company operations with a focus on achieving sustained profitability and growth, customer satisfaction, and stable operations. Glenn comes to DCI with over 25 years of sales, marketing, and operations experience. In his long career Glenn has worked for startups, including Cohesive Systems and Clarify, as well as established technology leaders such as IBM, Intergraph, and UB/Tandem Computers. Glenn has a proven record of sales success and growth in both the private sector as well as large government accounts, such as the State of California.
Prior to joining Direct Commerce, Glenn was the Manager of State and Local Government operations for Quilogy, national premier professional services firm with practices in both Microsoft and Oracle technologies. Glenn earned a B.A, degree from the University of California, Berkeley campus and an MBA in accounting from the California State University campus in Sacramento.
Bruce Hanavan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing As founder and VP of sales and marketing at Direct Commerce, Bruce Hanavan leads the Direct Commerce sales organization. With over 12 years of diversified technology, sales, and marketing management experience, Bruce has a proven record of growing early-stage companies into market leaders. During his career, Bruce has successfully built strategic sales and product organizations for early stage companies and turned them into profitable long term enterprises with a global market focus.
Previous to Direct Commerce, Bruce was founder and president of Cohesive Systems Inc., a network consulting and systems integration company. After growing Cohesive into a multi-million dollar company, Bruce sold Cohesive to Global Internet Inc. who in turn sold off a network security product division to Cisco Systems and the consulting practice to Exodus Communications. Prior to Cohesive Systems, Bruce worked in Sales and Marketing for T-Line Services where he sold digital and voice and data communication systems to Fortune 500 companies. Bruce earned a Bachelor degree from California State University, and an MBA from University of Oregon.
Billy Williams, Chief Technical Officer
As Chief Technical Officer, Billy Williams is responsible for the teams that build, test, and package the Direct Commerce Web Services Platform. Over the past decade, Billy has been designing and developing highly interactive web applications; has worked on a diverse range of applications, from operating systems to enterprise software and consumer web sites; and has led numerous engineering and product design teams. Most recently, Billy was the Chief Technical Architect at Xpedior where he developed SCAFFOLDS for Java TM, a successful internet business application framework. Xpedior went public in 1999. Prior to Xpedior, Billy held engineering management and finance positions at SmithKline Beecham and Honeywell. Billy earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Computer Science from LaSalle University and a Masters of International Finance from University of South Carolina.

Vince Morris
Vince is currently CEO of a start-up company based in Alameda. He worked for QRS Corporation, a $150 million provider of e-commerce services to companies in the retail supply chain. His assignments included Senior Vice President Operations and Senior Vice President Marketing, in which he built world class telesales, enabling, customer support, and marketing organizations. Previously, he worked for 13 years at Raychem Corporation, a $2 billion technology company which supplied high-performance products for electronics, industrial, and telecommunication applications. Earlier, he worked for General Electric where he received GE's Managerial Award for outstanding results running a business in the Lighting Business Group, along with receiving GE's Award to Inventors.
